Hengrove Athletic have been rewarded for their win over Alton FC on Saturday by being drawn away to Newport (IOW) in the second round of the FA Vase.

Exact details have yet to be finalised but the match will most likely take place on Saturday 11th November with a 3.00pm kickoff; this will be confirmed shortly.

Newport, based on the Isle of Wight of course, play in the Wessex League Premier Division, the one above Alton FC, and won their First Round tie on Saturday by five goals to nil at home to Bovey Tracey. They are struggling a little in the league this season though with two wins from their first thirteen matches.

"The Port", as they are known, play at St Georges Park on the island, a nice looking ground with a capacity of 3,200. The ground record was set a decade ago when 3,112 watched a pre-season friendly against Portsmouth and the team play in yellow shirts, blue shorts and yellow socks.

Further details regarding this match will be released as soon as we get them regarding travel arrangements, replays etc.
