The Norton Lane side, who finished in an all-time high ninth position in the Toolstation Western League Premier Division last season, have developed several mutual relationships with local companies over the summer. The latest of these will see Sport Kitchen take an advert in the club’s matchday programme whilst in return, providing their products at a preferential rate to the players.

Sport Kitchen was set up in 2008 to fill a gap in the sports nutrition market and has gone from strength to strength over the past decade. They now supply their delicious freeze-dried foods to Olympic stars, sports teams and professional athletes along with anyone that takes an interest in their own nutrition.

Hengrove club secretary Martin McConachie said “We have been looking to build partnerships with local innovative companies over the pre-season with the aim of giving our players every chance of further success next year. This latest agreement with Sport Kitchen fits the bill perfectly and their motto – “Eat Well, Play Hard” – is something our team can aspire to as well.

The deal is the fourth such agreement following those set up with Top To Toe Physiotherapy, Malago Insurance Brokers and Cineworld Hengrove earlier this summer. These will provide top quality physio plus sponsored awards for both "Man of the Match" and "Player of the Month" winners respectively.
