THREE LIONS ARE COMING HOME

The move will see the renowned Bristol pub's football teams play on Sundays at the Lane from next month after agreeing a deal earlier this morning.

The pub, based in Bedminster's West Street, is famous across the city due to its annual Flag Day and fanatical, passionate support of both Bristol City and England. The two teams can also boast several well known ex-City professionals in their ranks including Scott Murray, Louis Carey and Rob Edwards.

The move will ensure the Lions have a high quality pitch with great facilities to play at each week.

Everyone at Hengrove Athletic would like to wish Sean Donnelly and the boys a warm welcome to the Lane and best of luck for next season.
