The fantastic "Daz's Rock 4 Charity" has set up a fantastic fun and football extravaganza in aid of Chris Winters, a Knowle West boxing legend who needs funds to set up and continue to run his successful boxing gym for youngsters. Chris, known as "Skemer" will run one of the football teams at Paprika Park while the other will be managed by a combination of Louis Carey and Marc Ford, as per previous charity matches. This hopefully will mean appearances from some ex-Bristol City and Bristol Rovers legends of the past putting their boots back on for a cameo.

As if the football match wasn't enough reason to come down and raise a few quid, there's more! Darren Sims, the multi-instrumentalist and singer, will be doing a live show from inside the clubhouse while outside, a bouncy castle and an ice cream van have been lined up. Back inside, there will be an auction and raffle, face painting and food available too.

Previous events have gone really well and all at Hengrove Athletic are excited about hosting such a prestigious event again. The gates will open at 12.30pm and the match will kick off at 1.30pm (and 1.35pm, 1.40pm, 1.45pm if previous high scoring games are anything to go by!!). The entertainment should end around 6.00pm, but no promises!
