Sonny Parker's eighth strike of a productive season was the only glimmer of light as Hengrove lost by two goals to one against Bitton on Saturday.
Joe Beardswell and Ollie Sully, a new signing from Forest Green Rovers, scored the goals that keep Will Justin's side hot on the heels of second placed Radstock Town, just four points behind the Miners with a game in hand.
