Boco spurned a great chance to take an early lead when they were awarded a penalty in the first five minutes but Jack Sheppard-Cozens' spot kick hit the bar, as did the follow up from Sam Thomas. But the reprieve was only temporary as on twenty minutes, Isaiah Crawford gave Boco the lead.

That advantage was doubled on 34 minutes when Will Humphries made it 2-0. The Grove mads a triple change at half time but within six minutes, found themselves three down via a goal from Sam Thomas. The victory was sealed with just over twenty minutes to go when Seb Scott scored a fourth for the hosts.
