Hengrove Athletic kicked off 2024 with a 6-2 defeat at home to Longwell Green Sports.
Braces from Matt Brown and Sonny Passco, a strike from Liam Oswin and an own goal ensured a far from ideal start to the New Year for the Grove who could only reply via Pete Sheppard and sub Harvey Impey.
