The home side started the game well before third placed Cribbs came back into the game as half time approached. After the break, Cribbs came closest with a header that was superbly saved by keeper Ben Britton who preserved a deserved point for his side. Either side could have won it late on but in the end, had to be satisfied with a point apiece.
The Grove now move above Gillingham Town whose game against Wincanton Town was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch. After playing Radstock ( then 2nd) and Cribbs (3rd) in their last two games, the Grove will host Portishead Town (now 2nd) this coming Saturday, 3pm kick off at the AVB.
