A late winner ensured that Tytherington Rocks took the friendly honours after a 3-2 win over Hengrove Athletic at Paprika Park.

Jamie Godfrey had given the home side the lead on 18 minutes, curling in a free kick from distance after a foul. The Hellenic League Division One visitors then equalised on 35 minutes with a Dent header from close range.

In the second half, both sides scored again with Croome putting Rocks ahead with a 35 yard effort and Godfrey again claiming the hosts goal, converting a penalty. The Rocks then won it with a goal in the last fifteen minutes, a second of the game for Dent following his hat trick against AEK Boco last weekend.

Everyone at Paprika Park would like to pass on their grateful thanks to Tytherington for making the awkward journey across town to play tonight and to wish them all the very best for their Hellenic League season.
