Rich signed for the club this afternoon and goes straight into tomorrow's first team squad for the game against Wincanton Town at the AVB Stadium. He'll provide cover for current keeper Carl Bush who is unavailable through work commitments.

The 39-year-old has played for several clubs in the Bristol area over his career and is now also building an impressive CV as a coach, passing on his knowhow to fellow goalkeepers through his business, First Step Coaching.

With a young Hengrove side already beginning to develop this season, both Carl and Rich's experience will prove vital behind the defence and the recruitment of Rich is a positive step. Having also played for Three Lions FC and in several of Daz Sims' charity games, Rich is no stranger to Norton Lane and everyone at the club would like to wish him well in his stay with the club.
