Hengrove Athletic's latest pre-season friendly saw them go down by two goals to nil at home to Clutton this afternoon.

After a goalless frst half that had seen both keepers make some smart saves, former Hengrove Reserves striker Jon Moss gave his side the lead from close range just after the hour mark.

A Clutton trialist grabbed a second goal on 86 minutes to wrap the game up and give the County League side the win.

Of more concern to Grove manager Jamie Hillman was a nasty looking knee injury to Danny Lock who was helped from the pitch after going down under an innocuous challenge. A visit to the specialist this week will hopefully bring a positive diagnosis for Danny and everyone at the club would wish for good news for the player.
