In a game of relatively few clear cut chances, both sides had to settle for the point in baking hot conditions at the Field.

Both sides had chances to score throughout the match with the changes at the back bearing fruit for a visiting Grove side that had shipped nineteen goals in their previous four games. Josh Scully-Rogers overhead effort was cleared off the line by a superb defensive clearance that belied the new look back four, and in the end, the visitors were well worth a valuable point that lifts them two places off the bottom of the table.
